Rainstorm Society is the solo project of Samuel Brunner: 23-year-old, lives half in Zurich, half in Engadin, prefers to brush his teeth with Elmex toothpaste and writes music for the indie film head cinema. Lyrics sometimes in English, sometimes in German, dialect or even French (thanks DeepL translator), accompanied by nostalgic sounds partly reminiscent of Nick Drake and Bob Dylan, partly of millennial indie music like Wilco and Pavement, tell of youth, friendship and sexuality. Inspired by artists like Mac Demarco and Current Joys, he records all his songs himself in his bedroom.
