From the neighborhood for the neighborhood: On Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10, 2023, the neighborhood festival will take place in Europaallee for the second time. The perfect opportunity to get to know Europaallee and its businesses better. And if you already know the neighborhood near Zurich’s main train station inside and out, there’s still plenty of new things to do at the various program events – from food trucks and workshops to live music and DJs. Credit Suisse: At the neighborhood festival in Europaallee, everything revolves around football at Credit Suisse. Fun and games await young and old: autograph sessions with the stars of the Swiss national team, a painting corner for children, large and small bowling tables, and much more. With a bit of luck, you can get your hands on a signed ball or a signed Swiss national team jersey at the electronic wheel of fortune.

Orell Füssli: Meet mascot Finki, solve a case and create your own button. The Orell Füssli program is varied: Finki, the blue book finch and Orell Füssli’s children’s club mascot, is coming to visit and is looking forward to meeting lots of young and old visitors. In addition, visitors will be invited to solve the case of the stolen Golden Book and they can create their own button – whether with a funny saying, a witty motif or their favorite character.

UBS: There are great things for families at UBS: there are instant prizes to be won in the fun live quiz. With a little luck, you can also win a trip to Europapark or SBB vouchers.

Bierwerk Züri: What does every neighborhood festival need? Exactly: a neighborhood festival beer. And that’s exactly what Bierwerk Züri is brewing especially for the two-day event in Europaallee. The Quartierfest beer will not only be served directly at the brewery on Gustav-Gull-Platz, but also from the tap at the Bierwerk stand on Europaplatz. In addition to the freshly brewed beer, the Tankbierbar also offers long drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, homemade sourdough focaccia and other snacks.

BRIDGE: Invites you to dance on the terrace with a small dance floor.

Hiltl: Serves refreshing summer drinks on the Europaplatz.

SAY CHOCOLATE: This year, SAY CHOCOLATE is not only celebrating the neighborhood festival, but also the 10th anniversary of SAY CHOCOLATE in Europaallee. This will be celebrated with sweet and savory treats such as cruffins, macarons and scones. There will also be drinks to match. You never get enough of sweets? Then you can look forward to the raffle, because there will be a Birthday Signature Cake raffle, yummy..

Smith & Smith: The Wine Company Smith & Smith serves wines at the wine bar in Europe Square.

VITO: Negroni Sbagliato, Franciacorta Hugo, Vermouth Tonic. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it? At VITO you can enjoy good drinks, play table tennis with friends and prove your love for pizza by throwing Pelati cans.

Vom Fass: With wine, Wiedikerli and a competition. At Vom Fass, thirsty and hungry people will be happy: At the wine bar, there are various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as Wiedikerli sausages and vegetables from the charcoal grill. But you can’t just be hungry or thirsty, you can also be competitive; because in the sniffing competition you can guess various Vom Fass products.

SCHARFMACHER: The SCHARFMACHER will be at the Quartierfest again this year. He invites you to a glasses making workshop, refreshing drinks, good music and a video art exhibition.

Tara Style: Summer Bar, Jewelry Styling and Piercing Corner: At Tara Style you can enjoy cool drinks, style yourself with the latest jewelry designs (and maybe even win a voucher worth CHF 500) and get a piercing on the spot.

mad Hairstyling: With (roller skate) parties, fine drinks and – how could it be otherwise – fresh hairstyles. mad Hairstyling invites you to dance on rollers and offers matching dance crash courses, rhythm skating sessions and much more. To make sure your hairstyle is just right, you can get a touch-up at the styling corner and quench your thirst at mad Bar Spiced up by Ingwerer.

TopPharm: Summer is here and so is the sun. At TopPharm’s Sunshine Bar you can test sunscreens, enjoy sunshine drinks and – safety first – get a skin check by doctors from the Stadtspital Triemli inside the pharmacy.

Google: At the Quartierfest you will get a glimpse behind the scenes of Google Switzerland: Office Tours (by appointment only), cinema program with popcorn & glacé, building brush robots with KILUDO for children from 8 years, a Photobooth as well as the AI experiment “Quick Draw”.

EGO Movement: Offers test drives in front of the store.

VEG and the City: So that something of the Quartierfest remains even longer: VEG and the City invites you to make your own refreshing spray and/or herbal salt. Just drop by VEG and the City on Lagerstrasse during the Quartierfest and bring a few friends to the workshop of your choice. Workshops will be designed based on crowds.

Veloklinik: On Friday and Saturday you can attend Bike Fixing Workshops at the Veloklinik on Lagerstrasse and get tips from the Velomech professional. In addition, the Veloklinik offers a free bike check on Saturday. Just come by with your bike: the Veloklinik will check your bike, make simple repairs free of charge and give you tips for maintenance along the way.
