CYCLE WEEK 2021: Presented by Zurich.
From August 4 to 8, Zurich is under the sign of the bicycle. The Urban Bike Festival and the Bike Days unite to the CYCLE WEEK, the biggest bike festival in Switzerland – decentralized, live, online and corona compliant. Together we celebrate the bike!
The CYCLE WEEK takes place at different locations in Zurich and highlights the different facets of bike culture for sports, leisure and mobility. Europaallee stands for modern, urban quality of life. Located directly at Zurich’s main train station, it is the perfect bicycle showcase in Zurich. Urban topics are thematized and exhibitors present their latest products in the Expo. The Brunau, where city and nature come together, is the ideal place to experience the fascination of bicycles, to expand your knowledge and skills at workshops or rides, or to exchange ideas with like-minded people and test everything that has two wheels and pedals: from full-suspension mountain bikes to spartan gravel bikes and from children’s bikes to racing bikes.
In addition to the two main venues, there are also other locations spread throughout Zurich. For example, the Viadukt and the Josefwiese with the Urban Cyclocross, the legendary cyclo-cross race through the moat and volleyball field, or the Jumppark near Sihlcity, where the spectacular ZüriDirt Contest with international top athletes takes place. The last but central venue is the digital one, the CYCLE WEEK CHANNEL. Every day, a live broadcast is produced from the heart of the action: the latest products from the industry are presented, experts, athletes and opinion leaders discuss hot topics, the races are followed live and the outside team captures the highlights, wherever the wheel is rolling during CYCLE WEEK.
