Negroni, the classic drink made from bitters, red vermouth and gin, has been inspiring people for a century. It was invented around 100 years ago in what is now Caffè Giacosa in Florence.
The Cinchona Bar in the 25hours Hotel and the company “The Cocktail” celebrate the cocktail classic with a special Negroni workshop. Because the variety of this evergreen, which is also celebrating a great revival in Switzerland, is great and the mixing possibilities versatile. While the Negroni lovers mix and taste, they are assisted by bartenders from the Cinchona Bar and learn about the history of this drink, which has already made big appearances in Hollywood films such as “The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone”. At the end, everyone can take home their self-created Negroni mix.
